What You Will Be Doing
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the assembly of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical components and systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting the physical assembly of units, sub-assemblies, and systems according to established procedures and engineering drawings.
- Collaborating with manufacturing engineering and other cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective assembly processes.
- Identifying and troubleshooting assembly-related issues, contributing to the resolution of yield problems.
- Following work instructions, schematics, and other technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly.
- Performing quality checks and inspections of assembled units to verify conformance to specifications.
- Assisting in the development of workarounds and contributing to the execution of the production schedule.
- Ensuring the availability of necessary materials, tools, and equipment for assembly tasks.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes, efficiency, and quality.
- Interfacing with internal stakeholders to provide updates on assembly progress and address any technical concerns.

- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is at a facility requiring special access. The selected candidate must be eligible to obtain a secret security clearance, and a company-sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in assembly operations within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Fundamental understanding of electronic, electromechanical, and/or mechanical assembly principles.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
Desired Skills:
- Associate's degree or vocational training in a technical field.
- Previous experience (2+ years) as an Assembly Technician, preferably with experience in RF systems or similar complex assemblies.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Experience with using various hand and power tools, as well as assembly equipment.
- Understanding of quality assurance procedures and inspection techniques.
- Experience with following production schedules and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to identify and report assembly discrepancies or potential issues.

- This position necessitates a government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for consideration.
