Job Description

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, reporting to the Food & Beverage Management, you will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing the activities of our food and beverage service team. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery, maintaining high standards of quality, and exceeding guest expectations across our dining outlets and events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review daily food and beverage operations, ensuring adequate staffing levels, necessary supplies, and attention to any specific guest needs or arrangements. Prepare daily task assignments for the service team and conduct pre-shift briefings to ensure everyone is well-informed.
- Uphold and ensure that all Food & Beverage team members adhere to Accor's high standards of service and professional conduct. Actively contribute to the training, development, and coaching of team members as required.
- Engage with the hotel's service improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement throughout the food and beverage department.
- Communicate and accurately document all guest and colleague inquiries, opportunities for improvement, feedback, and other relevant information using established communication protocols, including logbooks and handover reports.
- Liaise effectively with the kitchen team regarding food preparation timelines and standards, and with beverage staff concerning bar requirements, ensuring all are aligned with guest specifications and expectations.
- Engage with guests to address any last-minute requests or adjustments, coordinate with the kitchen to manage changes in guest numbers when necessary, and proactively address guest needs to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of dining areas and event spaces, ensuring they are properly equipped with all necessary amenities and that they are cleaned, refreshed, and reset efficiently during service breaks.
- Supervise the setup of food and beverage areas for subsequent shifts to guarantee preparedness and adherence to requirements.
- Process guest bills accurately at the conclusion of service and contribute to the weekly payroll procedures as needed.
- Attend relevant operational meetings to stay informed and contribute to effective communication within the food and beverage department.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Food & Beverage Management.
Qualifications
- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or diploma in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in food and beverage service operations.
- Demonstrated experience in a high-volume, quality food and beverage environment.
- Solid understanding of overall food and beverage service principles and practices.
- Familiarity with various service styles and techniques.
- Possession of required local certifications or licenses (e.g., alcohol service).
- Proven ability to think critically, exercise independent judgment, provide guidance, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong numerical and basic computer literacy, including proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods is required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to a moderate weight (e.g., trays of food and beverages).
- Energetic, approachable, and a strong team player with excellent organizational and customer service skills.
